Looking Chic in a Layered top

Layering has been one of the most tricky fashion styles there ever was. It always brings about the elements of surprise especially if you are already taking off each layer only to reveal a more smashing outfit inside all of those layers. Once you have mastered the art of layering you can freely go about styling your layered top in any way you would want to.

This is also a way of expressing yourself to the people around you. Being able to layer your tops is very much important in the spring and winter months because layering your top keeps you feel warm especially in early morning. Later in the afternoon you when it gets warmer, you can just take off a layer of top and still be in style.

Whenever the weather is dull it doesn’t mean that you should also be wearing dull colored clothes. You should add a splash of flare to what you are wearing in contrast to the weather. You might try combining your jackets to shirts with colors red or green. This will surely set you apart from the rest of the other people who are wearing graying outfits. At the same time you still make a statement of your style, even though you are covered up. When layering up, the thinnest shirt always comes first close to the skin, and then the thicker ones go on top.

Never go beyond three layers, not unless you would want to look like a snowman out of that huge bundle you are wearing. Always mix and match your layered top, don’t just wear anything you can pick up in your closet. Be coordinated; notice the splashes of colors you are putting on. Do not pair up a loud shirt with your old vest and the likes.

You will only end up looking like a fashion disaster rather than a fashion icon. Always consider that each layer you put can be worn on its own. In this process you can freely take off each layer when the weather becomes hotter and still remain in character. Do not destroy the image you are projecting by wearing layers that depend on each other to make a “look”.
